Omg this keeps getting better and better with each episode!! Kache’s transformation over the course of the ep was satisfying, and I can’t wait for what they’ve announced for next week :3 hopefully we’ll get some crazy Ame action.

Love this anime so far, reminds me both of Madoka and Lain, both of which are my top of the top favs. The scattered plot, damaged characters, no censorship or sugarcoating come together super smoothly. Idk why some people have trouble understanding what’s going on, like idk having a straight up plot would be the antithesis of this piece of art.

Story aside, it’s just soooo pretty, like so much work had to be put into each episode. Visuals feel literally cinematic at all times through the ep. 10/10 so far, I LOOOOVE bad-mental-health-abusive-pathological-dark stuffs. After watching I just had to girl up, install steam on my nixos machine and play the og game for a bit ;3

This is settling down nicely.

Well - "settling down" might not be quite the right phrase, but after opening with a barrage of surreal imagery, free associated dialogue and disjointed slices of the lives behind the streamers, it's slowing down a bit and focusing more, and filling in some of the gaps. Which is just as it should be.

This episode was such an emotional high for me after the previous horribleness. I was like "Go, girl! Do you, girl!" literally air-fisting.

I'm still so alien to the whole subculture depicted in the show, I don't understand all this appearance worship and competitive out-vibing each other, but I really do connect with the psychological struggles characters go through.
