how the hell do you even find what to do here, i scroll past most of the daily posts on all in a matter of minutes

Be sure to follow the rule before you head out.
Rule: You must post before you leave.
Gotta post, comment, and engage more. Also try swapping your sorting by hot, top 6hr, top 12hr, new, etc. if you're just trying to doom scroll.
I sort by New Comments because I want funny posts but usually comments on funny posts are funny too so that works
Find a community you like and engage with it. Lemmy is still very new and I'm guessing most people don't remember early Reddit. It took a few of us posting a lot to get more people into it and make it grow. Or as my counterparts on Risa would say:
I'm doing my part
Just put a couple slice of mastodon some extra sauce of youtube and tons of videogames and you have it.😗👌
Subscribed, local active, all.
Local is my beehaw or Kbin feed, all is federated. Add in threads on Kbin and mastodon and it's pretty good.
At the very least, there's as much repetitive content as I had already experienced on the other site but a little more diverse and not quite as curated
After I blocked all the subs that don't speak English and then a lot of the porn I really only see like maybe 8 subs posting over and over again.
Risa is over in the corner:
Time to learn another language!
I've tried but I'm just too dumb.
Who is eating a burger from the top down?
If anyone is looking for an exercise that isn't repetitive or is easy to grow into I would suggest boxing. It gets your entire body moving and requires you to use your mind. It's easy to go at your own pace until you build up strength and endurance and I find it far less boring than just lifting weights and less stress on my body than running.
Agree, boxing is the best in terms of entertainment + physical conditioning for beginners
But it sure felt good
Lemmy is a Sloppy Joe. Sure it's messy, but it's delicious and satisfying.
Are you sure about that
Burgers are sandwiches.
oops, all stolen bikes!! (:
same but without the buns
