Having faced Atlantic swell in a frigate, I would not want to do this.

I've sailed the Atlantic many times. The swell can be huge. I was in a 144m long navy frigate and everyone was seasick when we had 14m high waves. Everything broke. We could only go straight into the direction of the swell, otherwise we would capsize.

People crossing the atlantic in small vessels only became impressive to me once I crossed the atlantic in (at the time) the biggest vessel in the world.

I accidentally a word in there. It was the Pride of America; the biggest cruise vessel at the time I was on it. But they (NCL) already had an even bigger ship to be built in the coming years at the time, too.

On the open ocean you poop overboard. The US requires holding tanks within coastal waters, but most cruisers ignore it.
The initial post has an Instagram video with him answering that very question. He can stand in the vessel and the side height is specifically just short enough to let him pee over it, or sit on it and poop overboard. For pooping he has a tow-rag...a rag that he wipes with and then throws it into the water. It is attached to the boat and towed along to get clean.
Has he considered that when you sit on the side of a boat that small, it tends to capsize?
I'm sure he and the engineer he hired who specializes in small vessels didn't consider this at all

What happens when it flips over from a wave
The keel is likely lead, these designs right themselves like buoys.
In the comment article, it says it’s build to act like a buoy, and will be like a “carnival ride”. It’s also able to be fully sealed for 45 minutes at a time and has some kind of snorkel system he can use. Looks like it can be pressurized too.
Combined with the small dome for his head it looks like a CTE machine to me.
As someone who is claustrophobic, I am going anxiety from the thought of this capsule.
Yeah, I’m ok with small spaces I know I can leave, but not in the middle of an ocean.
To me it looks like it can be completely sealed... and hopefully it's designed for auto-rolling back upright.
That being said I wouldn't want to experience the feeling of a tennis ball in a hurricane for several days should I face a storm in open water... let alone the accompanying lavatory and supply situation as well as parts such as the mast and the panels being ripped off.
