I've sailed the Atlantic many times. The swell can be huge. I was in a 144m long navy frigate and everyone was seasick when we had 14m high waves. Everything broke. We could only go straight into the direction of the swell, otherwise we would capsize.

Best of luck dude, I hope you have better weather. But you're stupid AF.

    People crossing the atlantic in small vessels only became impressive to me once I crossed the atlantic in (at the time) the biggest vessel in the world.

    I accidentally a word in there. It was the Pride of America; the biggest cruise vessel at the time I was on it. But they (NCL) already had an even bigger ship to be built in the coming years at the time, too.

    The worst pollutors of the seas. Running on thick oil slurry. Next time take a plane to have a significantly smaller impact. Cruise ships really are the worst of the worst.
