Accounts are being created on lemmy.world, downvoting en mass, and then deleting themselves. (See this example, https://lemvotes.org/user/iuyfihefoqerhif@lemmy.world - 99 downvotes in 7 minutes.)

Accounts are also being created, then flooding communities with posts, then also deleting themselves. A few examples below:

Are the admins aware of this behavior? If so, is anything being done to remediate this issue?

we're very much aware of this. there are several individuals continuously evading bans. see also https://lemmy.world/post/39539586.

unfortunately, the tooling natively available in lemmy is rather limited, and identifying these accounts automatically without having a decent chance of false positives is challenging. there are already some measures we've implemented, but the stricter we become the more we risk affecting legitimate users with this.

Yes, they can in certain contexts. Bulk downvoting on posts can degrade their visibility.
