I mean, they execute people for financial fraud. I’m pretty sure Israel and the US would run out of people to govern them if you exclude pedophiles and big time scammers.

It's because they don't really know anything about China at all, except for the programming they've received. When they are confronted with horrors of their own system, they just project the same (but worse, naturally) onto China. It's honestly no different from the logic of "great replacement" chuds: "look how shitty we've been to minorities. Just imagine how shitty they'll be to us when they get the chance!"
This is kinda meaningless without context of class. The US is not specifically concerned for the rights of pedos, it's about giving the rich and powerful complete immunity to do whatever they want to lower class people. They'd have no problems executing working class pedophiles, in fact they'd probably be happy to set precedents for that so they can start killing "groomers" (read: gay and trans people).
I looked up the article (CW sex crimes) and while the three guys who China killed did some really heinous stuff, they weren't people in positions of power. Not sure if I wanna cheer for the state executing people like that, no matter how bad their crimes.
In the unfalsifiable anticommunist orthodoxy, the absence of any Chinese Epstein files is just evidence that they are more corrupt than America, which at least revealed the existence of such information in the abstract even if they still redact the most important parts to protect the ruling elite.

Every time the west does anything, liberals will scream "this will make it so we can't critique China if they ever hypothetically do what we are actually doing right now, which is the only reason why it's bad we are doing it!" and then get mad when you call them racist. They might link you to a 7-year old debunked paper whose only source is the Xinjiang files.
I mean, I principally oppose the death penalty, though I suppose the more interesting question is not whether china would go after any pedophile, but whether it would go after rich and/or powerful ones. Even the US convicts pedophiles, just only the ones not rich or well-connected enough. Though I will not claim to know much about how the chinese government operates...
