MODERATORS

I've tried to replicate the bug a few times, but haven't been able to find any pattern apart from me being already logged in.
If I'm logged in, close the site and later on open the site in a new tab or window (chrome or firefox both do this) then I sometimes see another account from my own logged in. It is never the same account, and the occurence is otherwise random.
I have not experienced this on mobile yet.

Feedback isn't around anymore, so I didn't know where else to post this.

yeah I see this daily, I'm curious what's causing it, probably a bug related to combining SSR+cache.

this is a common Lemmy problem, it happens more frequently the more users the Lemmy have

It has happened to me too. As someone else said it is a known lemmy bug.

I read reports that people were able to take actions as the other user such as send PMs, post comments, read notifications etc. Personally i have only ever had it momentarily, never long enough to do anything.

Maybe it is a good bug because it introduces some plausible deniability that any given action taken by the user might not have been done by them.
