Looking to transfer ownership of a community on lemmy.world between 2 accounts, both on lemmy.world. I see the option to appoint a mod, but not the option to transfer ownership. How can I go about this?

Thank you.

Appoint the new account and then remove yourself on the old account. If the account is inactive, you’d need admin help but it doesn’t sound like that’s the case here

Appreciate the responses. Where should I see the option to remove myself?

I figured it out. On the old account, after appointing a new mod, transfer community appears from the same menu. Note that these options appear from the extended menu while viewing a particular post made by the new mod, not from the feed of posts.

After that, leave as mod appears on the community page.
