I am a mother of three children, displaced by war and left with nothing but fear and uncertainty. We lost our home, our livelihood, and the small sense of safety we once had. We live without real shelter. When it rains, the tents flood. When the wind blows, the tarps tear apart. The cold seeps into our children’s bodies, and winter grows harsher each day. We don’t have enough warm clothes or blankets to protect them. Life here is unbearable. There is no electricity, no gas, and no clean drinking water. Even finding salty water is a struggle. Prices are rising, and surviving each day feels like a battle. My children ask me every day, “When will we have a home again?” I wish I had an answer. We are asking for help to escape this suffering, rebuild our lives, and give our children a future with dignity, safety, and hope.
