Just wondering if folks knew any cool mastodon/fediverse instances ones. Also happy to check out queer adjacent ones as well.

Prefer smaller instances to vibe in.

Can verify, is a good queer instance!

Blahaj.zone would be alright if it wasn't for the moderation team, who think chasers should be tolerated so they can learn and their "support" can be accepted, while banning actual Trans Communists.

Hexbear probably has the largest LGBTQ community that isn't also infested with chasers.

Hexbear has the most transgender people of any instance and afaik is the only instance that has built in pronoun tags to make sure everyone is gendered right. Come check out https://hexbear.net/c/traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns :)

Do you think mandatory outing is a good policy decision?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I very much agree, people shouldn't be forced to out themselves if they don't feel comfortable. Mandating pronoun tags is hostile and forces them to either lie or to out themselves.

"transgender = pronouns" is typical of the reductive liberal mindset that's encouraged at Hexbear. They don't actually think in terms of cause and effect. They think in terms of the symbols of progressivism. Pronouns look trans, so they must be good for trans people. I'm sure they think pink triangles are trans friendly too

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: [email protected]
