Appreciating YOU (lemmygrad.ml)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Hey everyone, just wanted to express my gratitude towards lemmygrad and its community. Every time I feel like I don't belong, or generally get sad about the situation in the world and in my country, I can come here and get to see people sharing the same ideas and worldviews that I have, and it makes me so much happier, more hopeful even, which encourages me to continue expressing my beliefs, learn more and try to make situation a little better.

So thank you, lemmygrad, and thanks to all the comrades who are present here.

edit: sorry comrades from hexbear, you are also awesome and thank you for federating with us!

The Hexbear seems to gain strength in Lemmygrad and grew to supernatural size!

I feel the same way. It's a small corner of sanity on the internet, when I don't want to have to deal with people waving American flags and cheering on their latest war.

Bumping this because as someone new to this community, I'm feeling it too. I really appreciate the quality of discussion here. People put a lot of effort into their posts, and it shows. This is a good community for political education and moral support.
