At least they stay in the water. Imagine if there was a crab even a quarter of that size that could live on land? Like, a crab that could climb trees and eat small animals? Now that would be cray-z

There's a few in the Osaka aquarium and you can go through a tunnel into a little observation bubble inside their enclosure, see them pretty up close. They are huge.
That aquarium is by far the best I have ever seen. The image of the spider crabs just being huge and chilling in their tank is burned in my brain.
You can see this is clearly fake when the crab is shown having to be literate to run for office.
