Case sensitivity is so much of a problem, that in college, people were always told to keep all their filenames all lowercase, to avoid issues with them.

Not at all. They were wrong on certain things, which people like Stalin used to justify his own horrible stuff.

Yes, I've meant declarations, which makes stuff much harder. There are tools that automatically writes you the header files, but it was a major PIA when I learned C++.

Okay, I likely have mixed it up with another language, which sounded similar...

"Authoritarianism is when people want things, not when government exerts force!"

One issue is, many open source AI also tries to ape whatever the big ones are doing at the moment, with the most outrageous example is one that generates a timelapse for AI art.

There's also tools that especially were created with artists in mind, but they're less popular due to the average person cannot use it as easily as the prompter machines, nor promise the end of "people with fake jobs" (boomers like generative AI for this reason).

When putting text into ``` [...] ```, do ```md [...] ``` instead, then some formatter will display your meme-arrow texts in green.

There was a time they tried to rebrand as CN and push live action content.

You're no no longer using the term Luddite on us! Character development!

"Leftists" who are more interested in authoritarianism than leftism. At their very worst, they even ally with the far-right.

According to a 12 year old wanting to be seen as an adult...

Due to potential new direction of D, I'm looking for some escape route just in case. I'm primarily a gamedev, so no functional programming languages like Rust or Haskell. Also one of the features I dislike the most in C/C++ is the super slow and super obsolete precompiler with its header files, so no zig, I don't want to open two files for editing the same class/struct. Memory safety is nice to have, but not a requirement, at worst case scenario I'll just create struct SafeArray<Type>. Also I need optional OOP features instead of reinventing OOP with all kinds of hacks many do when I would need it.

Yes I know about OpenD, and could be a candidate for such things, just looking into alternatives.

It would be nice if it could be disabled, or set to a longer swipe like with in the main one. I can't even remember which community I last unsubbed from accident, just because a scroll was too diagonal for the app.

Originally, I was going to use D, but its current WASM guideline is buried under a lot of Discord threads, all while people are lazy to touch the wiki. I need to test stuff with WASM (use for scripting in applications, not browsers).

Please NO RUST!!! While I see why functional programming is useful (I even use wasmtime as my WASM engine, which is developed in Rust), but is horribly counterproductive for game development, especially if it's opt out like in Rust.

EDIT: In the meanwhile, I've found AssemblyScript, which seems to be good for my usecase.
