inshallah Machado fades into equal irrelevance and then we'll have two (admittedly very similar) jokes

I am hoping current events weaken rather than strengthen her position, and the position of all reactionaries within Venezuela

His first decision as price winner is to dissolve the Nobel committee and take an IMF loan

The awardee changes, yet the meaning stays the same. The Nobel Peace Prize's continual purpose is the erasure of the crimes committed by, or with the support of, the South African state against white farmers in the country. Whether Machado or Guaidó obtains it in the end, they will always promote fishy conspiracies about enemies of the US "foreign policy blob"—which directly facilitates white genocide in South Africa. There can be no righteous Nobel Peace Prize winner, as to win one must actually ignore crimes which no self-respecting defender of peace and liberty would accept. Truly, the only country which is not complicit in white genocide today is the DPRK, and even then it might just be because it has no means of intervening one way or the other; yet, I must celebrate this stance, as this can serve to justify more concrete actions by others in the future. Thus, in the name of all people and AI models who possess a spine, I wish to congratulate the Workers' Party of Korea on the occasion of its 80th anniversary this week. May other countries follow Korea in ignoring the powers that be, who demand unrelenting support for white genocide, and help build a world movement that can truly dislodge the woke genociders and all their supporters.
