Enemies targeting the cloth wearers for "easy" kill.

Low level wizards are usually easy to kill. Higher level ones make pretty good tanks depending on the system, though!

(5e) Specially if you have access to Armor of Agathys from racial bonus or dipping a level into sorcerer.

D&D 2e is probably the craziest for this, since it doesn't have concentration but does have some really powerful defensive spells and spell triggers.

Isn't that also the OG ed with elves, dwarves, etc. as "classes"? (Nevermind the description of & process for playing a female character) ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿค”

1e is the one with race as class. Not that 2e isn't funky in its own way.

No, that was further back. 2e does have pretty harsh race-class-restrictions, but every race can become a fighter, thief or cleric (disclaimer: all my knowledge about 2e comes from Baldur's Gate 1+2, the video games).

Heh, yeah. Memories of BG1+2 are certainly fresher then IRL 2e sessions. ๐Ÿ˜œ

Killing this particular spellcaster nearly resulted in a planet wide wipe of the "enemies."

Maybe not the best call.

Even gave em a year to think about it.

What a literal legend.
