I hear this all the time, but I want to point out that most water hoses weren't made from the nuclear waste vinyl that they are made from now.

They were rubber, with only a LITTLE of the nuclear waste shit.

My generation had no public pedestrian shared spaces to stay out in in the first place that weren't dissected into dead sterility by suburban car infrastructure and the privitization of everything including joy and healthcare.

In the words of my father "no one has died from a little lake water... probably"

Did you tell her about having to go pee in the bushes?

PVCs, heavy metals, a range of things one wouldn't want in one's body can come from hoses, especially if the hose and water are hot from the sun. At least let the water run till it's cool before drinking.

Who the hell is drinking hot water from a hose?

Who the hell is putting PVCs and heavy metals in hoses when they are made in the first place? But to answer your question, little kids or adults who don't know any better, and are thirsty, perhaps.

Ha! It's the accidental first splash when you forget the hose has been sitting in the sun all morning. I'm pretty sure I learned my life lesson with just one mouthful of solar hose hell water.

Is hose water considered bad now?

Except it travels through a non-food rated piece of plastic that sheds plastic….?

There’s a reason it tastes different lmfao.

I mean the hose is a pretty big difference….

Tap water’s not a real argument for safety in a lot of places. Except Scotland, apparently

Lots of lead poisoning

PSA: always run the water for a bit until you can feel it's cool/cold.

I got a mouthful of solar hose hell water. Once and only once.
