Really puts a different spin on the term "sandwich generation"

i remember looking at a graph and seeing the peak and so happy my cohort was a far away as you could get from it (not 0% but very low)

was pretty worried as an elder millenial

Kinda wild to see that leaded gasoline wasn't fully phased out until the 90's, though. I didn't realize it took that long.

It took time to phase into microplastics

I think it is still in some jet fuels

It's in aviation fuel used for propeller planes.

I'm pretty sure they're in the process of phasing it out, but considering all the other problems the FAA is having, I'm not sure it's high up on their list of priorities.

Turns out the real chemtrails are the tetraethyl lead that rained from the sky along the way.

You move to the remote Alaskan wilderness to live a-guy-style and avoid the harmful chemicals.

You drink fresh glacial water and farm your own leeks and turnips. You make your own clothes.

Every six months supplies get delivered by pontoon plane, raining lead on you as he circles to line up for landing.

Give zoomers some of that lead because they are absolutely fucking demonic

I don't really know how true this shit is. Is it possible to estimate the 1920s and 30s? Or specifically I guess those born in the 1850s to 1900s? Those would be the people who grew into voting age in the 20s and 30s. How much lead exposure did they have?

I am extremely skeptical of blaming voting on this.

I'm inclined to agree that focusing on one thing can't explain a complex social process like voting, at most lead exposure is just one piece of the tapestry that is Amerikkkan material conditions, but it is very doomer to consider that we almost solved this particular problem only to bring it back less than a generation later.
