Question to the group: Why is infodumping a thing especially in the neurodivergent spectrum? What makes one do it? What is the motivation behind it? Which inhibitors are missing to control it?

I struggle with the symptom based descriptions of the ICD system (for F84). They don't help me much. The causes for the symptoms are not there.
I.e. if a dog doesn't come if you call for it, it might ignore you or you used the wrong name or the dog is deaf or there is a rabbit to hunt and it has no attention to spare besides its focus.
