WASHINGTON (AP) — Chief Justice John Roberts, speaking at a moment when threats against judges are on the rise, warned on Saturday that elected officials’ heated words about judges can lead to threats or acts of violence by others.

Without identifying anyone by name, Roberts clearly referenced Republican President Donald Trump and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer of New York when he said he has felt compelled to issue public rebukes of figures in both parties in recent years.

Then stop making shitty, arbitrary rulings that let Trump get away with literal kidnapping and murder. We weren't the one's who escalated first. In fact, this is us asking nicely.

Which seems to be working oh-so-well; wake me up when we move on to tactics that actually FIX this shit.

Be the change you want to see, guy.

Not a one man operation and the effective tactics require more coordination. I’ll let the folks that fucked this all up fix it; not my job to parent retarded MAGAts.

I'm pretty sure the term he is looking for is Stochastic Terrorism. And tho' the "chief justice" seems to be aware of the potential effects on judges, he seems oblivious that this also affects other human beings. Additionally, as this is quite obviously part of the plan for the GOP and the current executive branch, that it is happening intentionally, on purpose, and successfully. Maybe Justice Roberts needs to think this thru a bit further, especially in light of all the powers SCOTUS has already bestowed on POTUS which make this problem worse, not better. Surely leopards would never eat Robert's face.

stochastic terrorism

You mean the thing they’ve been doing for years is all of a sudden a problem when it’s turned on them?

This is just absurd.

Senator Schumer criticized the Supreme Court after ProPublica investigations showed they took secret luxury trips with Billionaires:

Some Billionaires even bought property for Clarence Thomas:

Trump repeatedly attacked a U.S Federal Judge, calling him a Mexican:

Last march, after a Judge ruled against him, President Trump called him a crook who should be impeached:

Trump and Schumer are not remotely comparable. .

One, this stupid cunt is trying to "both sides" this and that's pure horse shit. Two, these are the consequences of your fascist actions. Nobody sane is criticizing Sotomayor, Kagan, or Jackson, because they don't have a track record of corruption, boofing, or being in a cult.

Corrupt judges should fear for their safety every time they leave their residence.

He should be worried. Historically speaking judges of his level of infamy don't live long happy lives. The regime uses them and disposes of them if successful and if they fail Roberts is hanged for treason or war crimes at the Hauge.

Roberts and his coconspirators are destroying lives and communities and deserve to get what is coming to them.
