I feel that. I'm fairly active in a particular Discord server (yeah yeah save it) and I find myself doing this pretty often. Luckily the mods of said server also do the same thing, so we all just kinda nerd out over random shit that may or may not be related to the server's purpose.

for the record, just cus I hate discord doesn't mean I hate the reasons other people like discord or the communities they engage with there!
I just see Discord as the threat it is to those communities and the whole process is too cynical for me to engage with close up seeing it happen in excruciating slow motion.
