@Fubarberry Robocop Rogue City : -93% on Fanatical

I snagged Steins;Gate for $3. I've never played a visual novel before and I'm not sure if I'll like it, but I'll give it a shot.

It's a great one, although it can definitely be a slow burn at first.

UFO 50! Quality fun for docked couch multiplay. Just played a few rounds last night and had a blast.

It's not on sale but I'm also interested in dune awakening

You know, I really expected Dune to be shit, with mixed reviews at best. And here we are, with them having very positive reviews on Steam, and apparently 1mill players already.

I’m happy to see that I was totally, absolutely wrong. Thinking of picking it up.

I was expecting the same, licenced games rarely do well, since licencors are often worse than publishers because they have even less experience in games than the usual investors (although licenced dune games are generally quite good), and with dune being an mmo, a genre done to dead and usually designed to keep you playing instead of to have fun, I thought it would be terrible. I was very happy when people said the game is good, I've always wanted a survival game based on dune!

A lot of good games in Steam's deep discount section, but unfortunately I already own most of them. Picked up Furi for $2, but haven't grabbed anything else from Steam yet. If you don't have them, some deep discount games I'd recommend are Besiege, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Borderlands 3, Black Mesa, and Steins;Gate.

I also picked up Neon White from Fanatical, been waiting a long time for the price on it to drop below $10.

Be warned about Borderlands - apparently Take2 has changed their terms to essentially make their games spyware and they'll collect all kinds of data on you. While I haven't read their EULA, a bunch of people have mentioned this in their Steam reviews.

A very good point.

Ah yes, Furi. The masochist maker. Great game but I had to stop before the Stockholm Syndrome kicked in.

I learned about Tape to Tape recently which looks awesome, but it seems to be under heavy development still so I may wait until I'm ready to actually start playing before buying.

Not a lot is standing out to me as a must-buy (in part because I already have a lot in my library). Kind of thinking about Last Train Home, 9 Kings, and Knights in Tight Spaces. A part of me has also been thinking about snagging the old Guild Wars trilogy. GW1 is ancient by gaming standards, but still has a lot to offer.

Civilization VII is 50€ on Steam and I've seen it for 45€ on resellers. Is it worth this price or should I wait further? Similar ranges with Dune Awakening.

Fanatical has it 27% off right now, and they're a trustworthy store. Reviews are pretty poor for Civ7 last I checked though, so it might be better to wait for more patches and bigger discounts.
