"Do you know what noise a man makes when he's stabbed in the back? Because I do."
When I was in NZ, we were told that Vigo Mortenson was arrested for carrying a sword around with him in public. He was method acting and when arrested, announced he was Lord Arragorn and only he could wield the sword. It's illegal to have a weapon like that in public so they brought him in but I think Peter Jackson bailed him out and spoke to people.
Aragorn wouldn't have let himself get arrested without a fight. Especially if they tried to take Andúril away from him.
The real Elessar would not only not get arrested, the cops would lend him a squad car in exchange for a selfie and a promise to come back when convenient.
Also, I remember John Rhys-Davies getting a little too into the LARP with the poor stunt actors.
I heard Viggo would headbutt the orc stunt actors... while they were wearing helmets and Viggo wasn't lol
Don't forget his metal albums. Sir Christopher Lee is a talented musician as well.

That entire cast had such chemistry, both on- and offscreen. Peter Jackson translated it to film masterfully.
One of the prancing pony extras told me to fuck off once. I asked him if he was chosen because he was short and he took exception. Also corrected me and said it was a human tavern.
Yeah, the Prancing Pony is in Bree, outside the Shire. That's on you.
Also corrected me and said it was a human tavern.
That's amazing. I guess even the background extras go hard for Lord of the Rings lore.

I did "not see" that reference coming.
And neither did they, perhaps...
This accounting shows some fairly distressing encounters.
Apparently, he embellished a lot of his war stories and no evidence supporting his claims can be found, while there is direct evidence that contradicts his accounts.
That's a shame. Source?

Some stuff is true, some might be exaggerated and/or deliberately vague. But we don't know for sure and likely never will.
We know as an actor he had a flair for dramatics, so it wouldn't surprise me if he spiced up some stuff here and there juuuust a little.
The Daily Mail‘s Guy Walters finds this account to be dubious.
The Daily Mail
I think it's fair to say this source can be thrown in the bin.
Remember the concept of wonder?
it wouldn't surprise me if he spiced up some stuff here and there juuuust a little.
I believe that's called a "Brian Williams".
Well, apparently the person you responded to exaggerates a lot of their comments and has no source to support them, while there are direct responses to them that disagree (also with no source).
Forgive me for sleeping... Someone sniped me and posted sources here, but go off.
Dissing you because you didn't replay within an hour is really ignorant anyway. You don't have to apologise for having a real life.
