Hot take: it’s going to suck feces and perform poorly at the box office
There is zero precedent for a Fantastic Four movie flopping horribly.
~~That sucks ass. I think you should need special permission to make a film longer than 90 minutes. Directors have really taken the piss with this film length thing and it's not like films have gotten better.~~
Edit: This ain't for me, enjoy what you enjoy, here's hoping the film is good, sorry for raining on the parade.
Nah, around 2hrs is the sweet spot.
2.5 or more and I worry they’re stretching out a thin premise.
90 minutes or less and I worry that they didn’t bother to explore an interesting premise thoroughly enough.
You want tariffs on movies over 90 minutes?
Maybe you should stick to daytime TV
~~Cookie cutter super hero flicks don't need to be 2+ hr slop fests. They don't have a poignant story or message to tell, they're meant to sell popcorn and merchandise.~~
Edit: This ain't for me, enjoy what you enjoy, sorry for raining on the parade.
Please unfollow this community. You are not bringing value here and most likely never will. Comic book movies aren’t for everyone and they’re clearly not for you so please do everyone a favor and just go somewhere else.
Hey, yanno, that's super fair!
I mistook the community, saw the post while browsing All and thought it was a general movie one.
Sorry to be a bother.
Hey, all good, all good. I admire your willingness to listen and I apologize that I was harsh in my comment.
Thank you and fwiw I thought your rebuke was polite enough and well deserved. Have a good one! 😊

- For TV shows, consider the whole season as a spoiler until the last episode of the season has aired, then wait a few weeks.
