This seems like a technology exhibition more than a serious competition. There were only 4 teams and all of the participating robots were the same model, Unitree G1 Humanoid Robot. The robots had some AI features but were operated by a human driver behind the scenes.
The concept of robot fighting is cool and the technology is impressive
I've paid little attention to robot stuff in the last couple of years so I'm wowed by this, I remember when these things had trouble just going up stairs and falling over.
The winner should have to fight Railgun Max.
