You know this episode I was surprised we turned a pilot into tang for trying to stop someone from piloting a Gundam instead of having to emotionally blackmail a pilot into piloting the Gundam. Real inversion of expectations for the genre

Either Xavier or Kycilia (I am having a lot of trouble following the frantic pace) dropped the bomb that Gihren was jealous of Kycilia having the Newtype Corps all to herself, so Gihren is making cyber newtype clones.

I'm liking the story, but it feels like things are being knocked down as soon as they're set up. I can't help but wonder if this was supposed to have a longer run that got nixed.
