Someone on Reddit has been saying someone has been able to report new members without proof and remove their threads by claiming to be the people they've reported. Out of curiosity, I tested this out. Turns out it checks out. For some reason, admins have allowed it to be possible. I found out my threads have been removed this way, so beware if you're banned from somewhere or your threads are removed. This is the same person who thinks she can compete with Fedilore on Tumblr after being banned from Fedilore's instance for signing up for KiwiFarms in order to prevent her friends from being backbitten on there before going on YouTube to complain about it.

I think it's super weird that some people have a r/Lemmy to discuss Lemmy drama and tech support Lemmy questions on Reddit (with very low engagement), some people do a tumblr and some do YouTube videos to gather evidence and expose certain users. That's just wild.

Part of me thinks its all the same person since they all link stuff like this and kinda talk similarly, but I suppose if that were the case, the instance mods would probably have logs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[-] [email protected] 7 points 1 week ago

Yeah, this is the same person behind the shinigami and ShiverMeTimbers accounts. They love to schizopost.

Yeah... that's not surprising.

Except I didn't, as you can see.

I don't know about ShiverMeTimbers, but I can attest my modlogs were not done with full understanding of whatever situation they were in response to. Getting banned from lemmy.ml is an inevitability for every individual, and I know that sometimes the modlogs from them won't reflect the truth. I also have a little skepticism arising from the fact the admins there claimed Leni was impersonating another user with a similar first and last name, followed by Leni instantly proving her first and last name is on record going back 3 years. Not unlike a misunderstanding you would see in the white pages.

I know people who haven't been banned from a single instance after having been here for 2 years. Generally, mods and admins will look into a reported user and make their own conclusion. When dozens of different mods and admins arrive at the same conclusion after investigating a user, there's more credibility.

Leni has been banned from 8 different instances, not just ml.

Tell that to all the people I asked about that.

I like how you're so desperate to claim she has been banned from eight instances that you included lemmy.ml twice.

All the people you have been doing have been banned from lemm.ee, and only two of you haven't been banned from your own instances (which puts you at just as many instances you claim she is banned from). Many claim you are all alts, by the way.

I just say this as a concerned lemming, but I hope you're not still behind the upvoting and downvoting. A report could be the end of one's account if you are.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

That was a mistake. It was meant to be https://sh.itjust.works/u/[email protected] so my point still stands.

You seem to be going out of your way jumping at people in an attempt to discredit them, including putting words in people's mouth like you did here. I suspect you aren't here for a truthful discussion.

[-] [email protected] 0 points 1 week ago

See, we both can make mistakes. But I'm looking at the modlogs right now. I don't see what you're referring to.

Sure, having alt accounts and speaking of oneself in the third person isn't unheard of.

OP's referring to this and modlogs say it's their alt. I read OP's post multiple times and from what I gather, OP is boasting about getting other people's threads removed out of spite for the Fediverse because they got banned from the lemmy.ca instance on their Call Me Leni account.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I'm not seeing any post or comment removals in that modlog other than the usual stuff and things due to other specific reasons. It doesn't seem to be connected to what OP is referring to. At least I can't see it. Also I'm not sure about that being another alt account. ~~Maybe true, IDK.~~ The writing style isn't the same. ~~If it's one of the alts, that's done well.~~

[-] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Sorry if I was unclear, I was referring to OP mentioning that Leni had been banned from Fedilore's instance, which is lemmy.ca. Modlog shows that Leni had been banned from lemmy.ca (Fedilore's instance) for being a KiwiFarms user. OP had been inactive for 3 months until the same day Leni got banned from lemmy.ca, in which this was their first post after 3 months: How many instances have you been banned from?

In that post OP asserts in the comments that Leni was banned from several instances for being autistic. Leni was not banned for being autistic. Leni banned themselves from their own community using their ShiverMeTimbers alt for reasons relating to autism to try and discredit the existing modlogs: https://lemmy.ca/modlog?page=1&actionType=All&modId=14969838

[-] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

Sure, I think that's undisputed. (And not really news to me.) 😅

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago

If it's not proven, and both sides say something different, by definition, is it not disputed?

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Sure. I was a bit sloppy phrasing this. I meant it's undisputed that these allegations exist and the ban happened. Not whether they're true or not. That kind of information isn't contained in the modlog, nor do I have the means to research this. I meant pointing me at the modlog doesn't really help, since that's not the disputed information.

[-] [email protected] -1 points 1 week ago

Those mods (and admins) could ban you too, especially considering you are mass-downvoting people via alts. An admin had to point it out to you. I was inactive because I forgot I existed, and I copied that question from someone on Reddit. It has nothing to do with someone else's ban (the dates don't even line up).

There's nothing that says what ShiverMeTimbers isn't true. Why would you claim to speak for anyone if ShiverMeTimbers cannot? Lemmy did shut down an all-autism instance. This was before your time as it was before the time of all the trolls roaming around. It's a sour point for many. Did either of them sign up for KiwiFarms for protective or sadistic purposes? Who knows. I do see indication Leni is being protective of KiwiFarms victims on there (which I assume puts her on the line).

[-] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Nothing in the modlogs says that Leni was banned for being autistic, the sole exception being Leni banning themselves on their ShiverMeTimbers alt, where they used autism in the reason box as an attempt to discredit the existing modlogs.

Did either of them sign up for KiwiFarms for protective or sadistic purposes?

Users have to agree to a security question that includes slurs against marginalised demographics before they can sign up on KiwiFarms. The site makes no effort to hide what it's goal is. Leni referred to people on there as "lolcows". They also said that someone dislikes the site because they're probably from two demographics who see themselves at odds with it, which was very obviously referring to both autistic and transgender people, since those are the people the site targets the most.

It isn't true. I'm yet another person mistaken for them, right after it happened to one of the other Ask Lemmy mods (go ask mod Candyman337, he will tell you about this).

[-] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

You claimed in this comment that Leni was banned from multiple instances for being autistic, which I have proven to be a lie here. I don't understand why you would lie about this. If you're interested in a honest discussion here, I strongly advise you to not make claims which can easily be proven to be false.

Leni was banned from multiple instances for being a KiwiFarms user with a history of abusing people, bigotry, and Nazi apologia.

[-] [email protected] -1 points 1 week ago

Saying something is true doesn't make it true.

[-] [email protected] 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

True, that's why on Lemmy, users can't as easily lie about the reason they're banned as they can on other sites. It's also possible to see which mod banned whom.

[-] [email protected] 0 points 1 week ago

Hence why you keep editing your comments to make it seem like we're talking about something we're not? On top of putting words in peoples' mouths, as I was referring to you claiming I did anything like that (or that any of those people are me, that what you showed resembles proof, or that you speak for anyone here).

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago

I edited my comment to include "It’s also possible to see which mod banned whom.".

Yeah, since you're responding here, that's enough for me. I don't need to ask anyone else. I already said I doubt it's the same person due to the writing style. I retract the unfounded scepticism concerning that user account.

[-] [email protected] -1 points 1 week ago

Sure, and everything in the modlogs is true I suppose /s

You're already on thin ice for being a downvote troll, why not quit while you're ahead? The only thing you just said that's true is the part where you said you read what I said multiple times.
