So was this just a purely "everyone's doing it, so the customers (shareholders) expect it, so we'll follow suit" type thing? Do mass layoffs inspire confidence in the stock so it goes up? It's hard to understand from a rational position that throwing away money makes money for the investors.
Enkers
I think what's incredibility obvious to you and I is an area of willful and encouraged ignorance for some who benefit from the results of their ignorance. I think that the media is largely complicit is beyond distasteful, but it's also the reality we live in.
I also think it's important for wikipedia to work through their own NPOV policies. It should be applauded that they eventually arrived at the correct conclusion, AND moreso that they spent time considering and discarding contrary positions.
Accepting one particular viewpoint with no consideration is dogmatism, and is not helpful to progressive causes.
Nova was acquired by a data analytics company. That's the last build prior to the acquisition.
Just to explain why people are confused:
If it were 100% of men voting Trump, and 100% of women voting Harris, your math would give a 200% swing, so you're essentially double counting. Divide by 2 to get the actual swing %.
Good point. Guess it just indicates how unpredictable he is. Just like how he said he'd build a wall, then built a little chunk of wall. It's all about doing the minimum possible to placate his base.
I'm just here trying to get a grasp on what the actual implications of his presidency are going to be. :/
Will it be climate change? [...] Will it be ai?
Why not both? :)
Half eaten salad? No, he'd never eat any of a salad. Not enough cholesterol.
Yeah, sure, he doesn't care about tradition, I get that. But it also seems to me Trump has always been fairly anti-China. Ofc he's also plenty happy to misrepresent his intent if it makes his base happy, so maybe that part was just a facade?
Isn't this a bit of a predicament for Trump? Traditionally the US has supported Taiwan's independence, and it seems to me that'd be continued under Trump's "China bad" rhetoric/policy. However, getting chummy with Putin might require rescinding support for Taiwan's independence.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks, fixed!
I really wanted to like DS. The world seems really interesting, and so does the story. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, but I found the gameplay to swing between boring and frustrating, with a side of gorgeous scenery.
Edit:
You are kinda right, though:
