I was on Reddit until they shut off third party support. From then on I just used Tumblr, soooo many 196 people there. And now I found this cozy spot, so might as well give it a try ^^

Also very based rules and instance. Finally a place that doesn't just ignore stuff when it happens.

blahaj zone is indeed extremely based

Queer Fedi is awesome. Tech.lgbt is also a great Mastodon instance with a similar vibe to the blahaj zone.

Haiiiiii :3.
I was on Tumblr as well, but this here does feel more like the old r/196. Only downside is the smaller community size.
Also may I recommend the Memmy app for if you’re on iOS, it’s basically like Apollo but for Lemmy, very nice app!

When I was on Reddit I've sometimes heard from some users that apparently the old 196 had considerably less trans posts, compared to now. So this means this wasn't the case after all?

Do you mean less trans posts than on tumblr? Because that could be the case. I hadn’t been on r/196 for too long though before I abandoned it when the API changes happened. The whole reblogging mess just doesn’t feel as nice to me as lemmy or Reddit.

I don't know honestly, I've only watched r/196, probably those Reddit users referred to r/196 but maybe it's not the case.
