Fuck. My real estate agent is here. I hate this place.

Real estate agents are a dime a dozen. Just switch and let them know why.

I'm getting rid of my optometrist because of the site, but not saying why - if they're stupid enough to identify this way, let them so we all know.

Glad to hear about this site today, gave the few businesses with actual Internet presence in my area bad reviews for their bad business practices of supporting Nazis

I've had business owners complain to me before for reviewing them without being a customer but Google has backed me up and left my review up every time (I check every so often): any interaction with your company is grounds for review, including ads (and people driving company vehicles, which is where many of my bad reviews come from)

if we're supposed to vote with our wallets, we need intel on what we're voting for when we open them. good for you!

In nature, animals warn us that they are poisonous or dangerous by displaying bright colors, warning sounds or by wearing little red hats.

the subreddit for my city has a post about this every so often, and that site is absolutely used to single out the places to avoid. Funny that Huffpost just got around to writing about it

I'm glad they did because I hadn't heard of it before.

It would not shock me one bit if the ice form whitelists the addresses listed on their website.

Only 3 hits for my zip code & none of them are anything I'd use.

I use GoodUniteUs for the same purpose while grocery shopping.

Same, thank god. I think I can do without tactical CrossFit or beef tallow candles.

Hey a list of businesses to go fuck up

[–] [email protected] 1 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Or just already the word to your friends and family to avoid the place like a Nazi plague.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 19 hours ago

Avoidance isn’t really helping anymore cos they keep getting more emboldened

I feel lucky - my zip code returned zero results. That said, I'm always down for a good boycott.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 23 hours ago

Be sure you're searching from the map page. The article strongly implies that you can just search for your zip code in the main search bar, but that's completely wrong. It took me forever to figure out how to get to the map The site is horrid.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 22 hours ago

The website was made by MAGA so as expected the search doesn't work. You have to use the map, use the +/- buttons to zoom out, center where you're at, and then hit search the area.

Seattle's businesses are mostly sports related for Kraken and Mariners. Do the owners of these teams know how they're connected to white nationalist merchandise? One of the others is a book store that has a lot of genealogy (hmm) and confederate crap.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Safe to assume they know but don’t see it as a problem.

I guess I'm hoping someone will do a deep dive locally into the owners. I know some of the owners wouldn't be cool with it, especially The Kraken. They're minority investors, but still.

The NHL’s Seattle Kraken have added former NFL star Marshawn Lynch and rapper Macklemore as minority investors.

The terms of the investments were not made public. Sports bankers estimate that minority equity stake deals similar to this are generally for 1% of a team or less.

Have you seen Macklemore's video? https://streamable.com/vaj7al

Maybe if enough people raise awareness, it will become a problem. That’s the only thing that really works.
