Looks like the Brits were trying to follow a recipe for poutine, but transcribed it as "peas" instead of "cheese".

I thought he bought a box of vomit for 4 bucks. What you said seems to make a lot more sense.
People in here loving poutine, but you swap cheese chunks in your gravy for a vegetable and it's suddenly disgusting? The North American palate is weird.
I'd say that's a reasonable price for dog food.
As a Spaniard I was going to comment that it is kind of overpriced dog food.
Here in the Netherlands I spend 80 euros on 10kg of cat food (kibble).
Why do you hate dogs?
Does all British food look like literal diarrhea or only the British food that gets photographed?
The cameras lie to you. It looks way less disgusting when you are about to eat it!
~~but yes, it does~~
It turns like that right before being photographed
I can't lie that looks genuinely amazing. Yes I am British, how can you tell?
As an American, I'd try it. I just don't understand it.
It's pork, chips, gravy and peas. Had it had less gravy, it'd look less messy.
I like that we all knew exactly the country
Those peas look like they came from can in a silent film and were colorized for this photo.
Is this what yall think poutine looks like?!?
Canadadians, shield your eyes!!!
2 girls 1 british food
If I were to spend £4 on a meal, I prefer an egg
I'd eat that, especially at that price. Not even British
British food gets a bad rap but I don't really get it. Fried fish, potatoes, roasted meat, cured meat, meat pies, lots of puddings and sweets, not to mention the Indian food. What's not to like? I'm going to the UK in October and I'm pumped for the food.
I've heard it's because they invaded every country on the planet for their spices and decided to use none of them
The taste of British food and the looks of British women made the Britains the best sailors in the world!
No, you're thinking of our grammar.
If you're bringing cash, bring it in 20s and below. 50s aren't used much at all as they arouse suspicion - many smaller places will flat out not accept them.
Hope you enjoy the trip :)
Pretty sure £4 is below minimum wage, especially since you’re exposed to such hazardous materials?
They should be getting way more for taking care of this monstrosity.
I'm always so worried about food with gravy. It can either be delicious, or foul. There's no middle.
They should allow gravy samples like they do ice cream 😤
Poor people acting fancy calling garbage food. Yet after a joint at 3am I would fuck with it. Ever try ketchup and peas?
I'd eat that, and in only a little drunk.
Call me a child, but peas are gross. The rest looks fantastic though.
You child!
You're welcome.
When you get a takeaway in the UK and it comes in these little containers, it often looks like gross slop. I recently got a taco+cheese chip, and it looked like pure vomit.
Doesn't put us off eating it though. Normally tastes good. Our local chippies and curry houses are supreme.
Ehi thats a good british dish… they’re trying their best guys, come on. This is nasty but a good builder breakfast is great: eggs, bacon, hotdogs, potates, beans and tomatoes. You can work for 3 days after it 🤣 south uk fish and chips is the shit ✌️
Ya got yummy sausage. Ya got gravy. Ya got yummy deep fried starchy goodness to soak up said gravy.
Why the the fuck would someone throw peas into that heavenly mix?!
Imma be real, peas in gravy are delicious in the same way corn is in mashed potatoes. Adds a sort of poppable texture that just goes well with the flavor
Holy shit ... 4 pounds for the worst diarrhea and wet bean farts of your lifetime. What a steal.
Almost makes me wish I could abide mushy peas. If I did I would finally be allowed to return to the North.
British invaded the entire world, and shipped exotic foods and spices back home for hundreds of years..
Only to make food that looks like this.
I want to make a joke about "shitpost", but my beloved chili is right there with it. I suspect this might be mouthwatering to the intended audience.
