Welcome to TheSimpsons, a community for discussing everything related to America's non-prehistoric cartoon family, The Simpsons!

Right about now, you're probably saying, "Troy, basically every post starts with 'Guess the Episode', is that all this community is?"

To which I say you've got some attitude, mister.

But no, any Simpsons content is allowed in this community, although we do ask that you keep the shitposting over in [email protected].

Guess the Episode "Rules"

These "Rules" aren't real, so if you think of something clever, do that instead.

How I feel when trans people are heartbroken because they are excluded from US military. C'mon, you're country hates you and you're still willing to die for them?

For context: I live outside the US and I'm not willing to die for my (gradually better) country.

Well,

Idk I’m sure some trans people in the US are inexplicably patriotic

But the main thing though is the army pays for your college. Which we otherwise have to go into life-altering debt to access. This is not a coincidence

They also operate programs in high schools to promote the concept, especially to the poorer and most vulnerable populations.

They offer insane sign up bonuses. Like $20k+. Tons of teenagers will go through the high school program, sign on, get the bonus, buy an expensive car, drive it around to flex on their friends lol.

These are children. They don’t really know the consequences. They have no way of knowing. Many of these children, trans kids included, are propagandized into believing this is the best way to make an honest living in this life.

The marketing is effective to say the least

The bigger thing, for trans people in particular, is medical benefits. For (at least) 4 years of your life, treatment and surgeries? Some people are willing to make that trade.

Its also a way to GTFO if your family is seriously transphobic.

While I agree with you, if a trans person still wishes to enlist it should be their decision to make, not mine or yours.

I also do not live in the US.

As I said, this is how I feel about it. I don't get why they (or anyone) would want it but sure, losing one's job and colleagues is never easy
