Ask Lemmy
A Fediverse community for open-ended, thought provoking questions
Rules: (interactive)
1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them
2) All posts must end with a '?'
This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?
3) No spam
Please do not flood the community with nonsense. Actual suspected spammers will be banned on site. No astroturfing.
4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either [email protected] or [email protected].
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email [email protected]. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
6) No US Politics.
Please don't post about current US Politics. If you need to do this, try [email protected] or [email protected]
Reminder: The terms of service apply here too.

Keychron is good but AFAIK they are a Chinese company and manufacture in China, the country websites are just for the currency
I use an Iris split keyboard from keeb.io. it's comfy. Actually I have two of them; the heavy clicky custom one with steel plates stays home; the light quiet one is for travel.
NGL all those url looks suspect
I’m a Ducky 100% user myself, have 2 in use. I have a KB Paradise 70% on standby.
No RGB gang.
Ducky keyboards are fantastic!
I currently have two, but have had a few others.
I started with a Ducky Shine 2 with white keycaps, orange LEDs and red switches, then killed it when I dropped a 2 L bottle of fanta on it, bought a Shine 4 with brown switches to replace it, then got a Ducky One 2 Skyline with blue switches and later a Ducky One 2 Tuxedo with blue switches.
Currently using the Skyline base with the absolutely fantastic keycap set Trailblazer from Alohakb:

I would like to have a white Duky One 3 base and put the keycaps on that, but so far I have not seen a white base from Ducky...
I love my Keychron. I have essentially no experience with any of the other brands though. I believe they are based in Taiwan.
I love my Keychron. I haven't tried any of the others on the list though.
Had a keychron k10 for years that just died after a static shock when I touched it (during normal use).
Thinking about getting another, but haven't decided on 100% or tkl
Got a Wooting keyboard. Comes with a Linux app. Pretty good keyboard. Can't complain.
I have 2 keychron keyboards and I like both of them a lot.
