Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Summary

Elon Musk announced that he is shutting down payments to federal contractors, suggesting his team has access to the Treasury Department’s payment systems.

Musk said that DOGE halted payments to Lutheran Family Services, a faith-based charity providing social services to refugees, by the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Treasury officials have not confirmed the extent of his influence, but reports indicate DOGE has full access. Musk also called USAID “a criminal organization” that should “die.”

Senator Ron Wyden warned that DOGE could disrupt payments for Social Security, Medicare, and government contracts.

Fuck this Nazi trash.

I’d like to take the opportunity to remind everyone what it took to defeat the Nazis last time. It’s gonna take a lot more this time, and you’re gonna have to get really comfortable with things. I can’t mention her or be banned.

War is only the beginning. Remember how the allies beat the Nazis: by wiping them off the fucking planet.

For having wiped the Nazis off the fucking planet, there sure are a ton of them still fucking around.

First step is destroying their tech infrastructure and capabilities.

The power they have with the data they have with the force available - it absolutely must be destroyed.

Without that at their advantage,we're almost on a level playing field.

Given that their access haven't been "suspiciously revoked" by some furries, I don't think their tech infrastructure is in danger.

Also they're moving their hostings into Texas, a state with very little leftist activity, unless they piss off too many people there too, I'm quite a doomer about it. The EU, Canada, etc. will likely do barely anything, and instead will try to please the tech overlords for a while, only to find out they cannot be pleased with anything less than total control.

Basically, unless we fix the media control it's an uphill battle. People leaving X and reddit gives some small hope for social media. But it's still rough with Fox, Sinclair, and iheartradio.

I'm gonna be real barely anyone left Reddit.

In Canada it's rogers and bell.

Going to be pretty difficult with archives and social media becoming decentralized.

Glad we’re talking about what we all think should die next, Musk. Thanks for bringing it up. Glad you’ve said something. Since we’re talking about orgs that need to die, criminal ones, let’s start with yours.
