MODERATORS

Image is of many Hamas soldiers supervising the handing over of Israeli hostages to cars heading out of the Gaza Strip.

After 15 months of genocide - and resistance to it - the Israeli regime realized that they could not win a military victory against Hamas, and were forced to sign a humiliating ceasefire in order to get their hostages returned.

With much of Syria under the control of Al-Qaeda, and an increasing level of covert infiltration into Lebanon, the crisis in the Middle East is not over, and we may still be in its beginning stages, as the center of hegemony continues its gradual shift away from the United States. Their navy, once considered the best in the world, is likely also not very happy about their ships and aircraft carriers being forced to retreat by Yemen, one of the poorest countries; and all eyes are on Iran, who has, over the last year and a half, demonstrated a newfound confidence and strength to directly strike Israel.

The recovery for Gaza will take, at a minimum, decades; it could indeed never fully recovery to even how it was before, considering it is not in Israel's interests to see their concentration camps recover. But Hamas has proven to be steadfast and the tunnel network has proven its resilience, despite facing some of the most powerful conventional bombing in history. This shows that Palestine's liberation is a when, not an if; and hopefully a much sooner "when" than expected before October 7th.

Israel-Palestine Conflict

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

UNRWA reports on Israel's destruction and siege of Gaza and the West Bank.

English-language Palestinian Marxist-Leninist twitter account. Alt here.
English-language twitter account that collates news.
Arab-language twitter account with videos and images of fighting.
English-language (with some Arab retweets) Twitter account based in Lebanon. - Telegram is @IbnRiad.
English-language Palestinian Twitter account which reports on news from the Resistance Axis. - Telegram is @EyesOnSouth.
English-language Twitter account in the same group as the previous two. - Telegram here.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists
Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Sources:

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Pro-Russian Telegram Channels:

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.
https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.
https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.
https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.
https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.
https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.
https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.
https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine Telegram Channels:

Almost every Western media outlet.
https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.
https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

Musk now has a badge to enter the White House complex and is likely to get a West Wing office. Previously, he had been expected to be in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

Guess he got a promotion after that salute amerikkka-clap

Note that the trump v1 staffers that lasted the longest were the ones who had stairs between their office and trump

In December 2024, President-elect Donald Trump stated that he plans to revert the mountain's official name back to Mount McKinley during his second term, in honor of President William McKinley. Trump's proposal was strongly opposed by U.S. Senators from Alaska Lisa Murkowski (R) and Dan Sullivan (R), along with Alaska State Senator Scott Kawasaki (D). On January 20, 2025, Trump announced that he intends to sign an executive order changing the mountain's official name back to Mount McKinley on the first day of his second term.

So this what he will be doing now? Changing names of things? Is this because Obamna changed the name of this mountain? Or is Trump such a big fan of William McKinley:

[–] [email protected] 46 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (4 children)

Trump likes McKinley because he captured new territories for the USA, had an anti inflationary monetary policy, and made use of tariffs. He also was assassinated. Lots of parallels to what Trump is promising. Getting to reverse something Obama did is a bonus.

[–] [email protected] 34 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I think you are over-thinking it. No way Trump knows or cares about any of that. What he does “know” is that McKinley is the name the good white people gave it. Then the woke indigenous people got it changed. And since white people are superior, renaming it to McKinley is a way to express that white supremacy.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

He mentioned a bit of this in his speech earlier, clearly someone on his team told him about it. American exceptionalism and white supremacy of course play a role, but Trump has been made aware of who McKinley is.

Also the father of American military interventionism.

I decided to get some sleep for a few hours, and I come back to news about Musk doing fascist salutes what-the-hell

[–] [email protected] 41 points 1 day ago (4 children)

There’s a whole thread on the Donald Trump forums saying that Hillary also raised her arm once so it’s okay if Elon did the Nazi salute.

I shit you not.

There’s a whole thread on the Donald Trump forums saying that Hillary also raised her arm once so it’s okay if Elon did the Nazi salute.

What was that quote? sartre-pipe

“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

Okay but that was the most pathetic nazi salute I have ever seen dude has negative charisma lmfao

I hope the USSR is revived and this time they do launch the Topol M ICBMs.

I have ever seen dude has negative charisma lmfao

It's true, he's not very funny either, he's like reverse Trump. I think it's because his “humor” is like Reddit/Gen X humor.

[–] [email protected] 34 points 1 day ago (4 children)

He also can’t speak straight and just mumbles unconfident nonsense. Literal negative rizz is right

Yes, it was high energy but still very cringe. Amazing how this guy is so wealthy and also such a loser at the same time.

Remember tho, we must give subsidies to Tesla and buy their cars to save the world!

Apparently he is voting to end refugee resettlement for Cubans , haitians and Venezuelans.

[–] [email protected] 35 points 1 day ago

So cutting off the gusanos. Will they learn that the country they worship doesn’t give a shit about them and channel that frustration into anti-American sentiments? Of course not! It’ll be the government of Cuba/Venezuela/Haiti that’s at fault.

*though Haiti’s government had been a problem but a lot of it had to do with US intervention

Musk does a nazi salute https://x.com/RpsAgainstTrump/status/1881433923433169381?mx=2

It is commom to chuds to do a plausible deniability nazi salute like Bannon some hours/day ago and that bimbo fox news lady some years ago. But Musk cant as he is stupid and could not mask well.

Elon did a full Sieg Heil on live TV, not just the vague arm gesture, but a full on salute. And then he turned around and did another to the audience on the other side.

[–] [email protected] 48 points 1 day ago

Hey America, how's it goin?

Musk does nazi salute, twice

Damn I'm so glad I had left the US 4 year ago, at the very last moment sort of. It's not even a Trump thing, it's just generally the mass psychosis thing

Dollar hegemony means the country can be successful without being connected in any capacity to reality. The population is dumb, uneducated, and insane, but Americans just import everything so they don’t actually need to be economically productive.

Let the treat economy continue.
