I used to play gatcha games... never again. That shit should not be available, much less to children.
I quite like generous f2p friendly gachas like the hoyo ones. It lets me get the little thrill of a gamble without spending any money. You just need to exercise patience and self control; it helps to know that if you miss a character, they'll be power crept in a couple patches anyway.
