Yess I’m on the same wave, been sober since ‘22. My partner made me a lovely cold brew peppermint mocha and stuck a candy cane in it 💞

Maybe hypocritical, given my post ITT, but I totally agree. It’s a poison. I plan to leave it in 2024, before the addiction gets worse

it sure is! i ate candy like it was halloween every day for the first month.. insatiable sugar cravings that would not quit... then it eased up a bit over the next month or so
the immediate effects of being able to sleep more soundly and that first weekend of no hangover are pretty amazing though

But once that's done I got a big bottle of coquito that's been mingling in the fridge

My partner and I infused a bottle of vodka with peppermint and candy canes and have been drinking it since like noon

Not yet haha. Drank too much last night - we have a tradition of going out to a dive bar Xmas eve.
But, biking around to our friends houses distributing 
gingersnaps and shots of Fireball, so I really only have so long available to me before I have to start drinking again.
Idk if my mom got enough (also mildly geographically doxxing myself with craft beer selection)
Needed a tiny amount of orange juice for a glaze for some 
so we made mimosas
