This is dumb. If the students actually did this, one of them would definitely end up shooting up the rest. Everyone knows you keep the vest on until the ceremony is over and you're safely home.

In a lot of States it remains essential to wear after the Graduation, too much idiots, insane and removed people with weapons in the USA, half of the population seeing the election results.
It took me a couple minutes to even know what the hell these objects were

Virginia Tech did. But university shootings seem far less common.
