extremely common weirdo internet libertarian L

Reminds me of one of the main FOIA guys who runs "The Black Vault" for UFO shit being like.
"I trust the government and appreciate all their good works, I just firmly believe in the civic value of government transparency and disclosure."
Probably my favourite kind of brainworms within the sphere of parapolitics, just a fundamentally endearing viewpoint to have.
My eternally melted brain post-Epstein is making me immediately think "No way this shit is real. They just want to try to pack him up by saying he confessed to avoid dealing with a jury and the possibility that people say "Eh... 🤷♂️""
exactly what a cop would write while driving out to Altoona
They probably keep a ton of these "manifestos" on file, and swap things in as necessary.
what kind of "gamer techbro" writes a handwritten manifesto knowing that it makes it so much harder to publicize or replicate? but it makes sense if a cop is hand-copying it from ChatGPT to avoid having to provide online provenance or mock up a believable flash drive (with just this document on it?) and appropriate dates
Okay I didn't buy the "planted manifesto" until now.
I fuckin called it (as did a few others)
Some people need better media literacy. MSM will never truthfully release what's actually in the manifesto if he even had a manifesto in the first place. The closest thing to a "manifesto" are compilation of his social media. And this is all assuming Luigi isn't being set up as a patsy.
I guess since he sucks it's now bad that he killed a POS ceo and demonstrated that the bourgeoisie aren't invincible.
Killing a POS CEO and demonstraing that the bourgeoisie aren't invincible is good even if the person who did it sucks
Basil posting on Lemmy.ml lol
No one thinks or thought this was genuinely a communistic/theory based thing. Everyone here has basically said something about him likely being a reactionary from the very day the assassination took place
That doesn’t make it less good the dude got got, like this has definitely shown how cathartic it has been for the masses and how universally derided healthcare is.
People are 1) literally just enjoying the fact that a usually untouchable person caught one and that’s it and 2) not necessarily taking the pigs word as sacrosanct straight out the gate.
just enjoying the fact that a usually untouchable person caught one
I really used to be one of those "all life is sacred" people, I thought I would never get satisfaction from the death of another, but after learning just how little human life matters to people like Brian Thompson for example, and how much they profit from the exploitation and ruination of human life, I have been surprised at how pleasant his assassination has been. It's also that we are constantly having to hear about people who don't deserve to die being subjected to humiliating and unjust deaths both in the news and our personal lives, it's somehow nice that it went the other way for once.
Between this and your other replies on this post, I feel like we're mere inches from getting an (I'm guessing) "anarchist" version of the Dirty Ushanka copypasta. Exciting times
its not like he can undead the CEO
If he could, would that be based or cringe? He's an Ivy League guy, so his family probably has access to one of those good grimoires that let you raise wights instead of simple zombies, so on the one hand, he could get up to all kinds of CEO-on-CEO shenanigans, but on the other hand, that would also make him a wight supremacist.
let's all instead pretend that cops are always 100% trustworthy

adding this detail is such a hilarious example of lib brain
do not interpret this to mean that i think that luigi is good
Death to America
I mean, I’d like a primary source. I don’t trust AmeriKKKan “news” orgs to do anything but bootlick the cops, breathlessly reprint their press releases, and join in the attempts to quell unrest or class consciousness after events like this one.
I’m still hoping for more radicalization and adventurism even if this guy is a
and is also actually the culprit. I still got excited when McConnell’s sister-in-law ate shit in one of Elmo’s bazinga cars.
Most Americans are bootlickers, he doesn't need to be the ideologically perfect specimen to say he did damn good in one regard.
Shit's bigger than him anyway. Look at the reaction. Look at the conversation that's starting.
Whatever his other tech-bro views are - I haven't seen a single miss in regards to how ghoulish the private healthcare system is and what needs to be done to fix it. That's what we should be looking at. That's what he did. When a politician has a shit take it's bad because they have power over things. This is just a young man, the only power he had he used in a good way. Unless he starts soapboxing about some other shit now that he could get some attention I really don't care.
stay mad about whatever it is you're mad about
Easy: death of the author. If this is the guy his work is already out there for people to interpret & draw their own conclusions from, his own intentions/views don't really matter.
The assassination of a health insurance CEO was met with widespread popular support. We saw people with signs & banners with the message the shooter left at the scene. It's still too early to say but we may get copycats following in their footsteps.
The shooters own views/reasons matter less than what people take away from this, and it seems like the takeaway is plenty of Americans (and others) support killing health insurance executives.
Yeah there’s been a lot of copium since it turns out he’s not even remotely left wing
I mean its a Setup anyway , State can not leave such a Act without presenting somebody that fits .. so they proably wrote that selfloving stuff in there as well .. Btw how nice that he had so much compromat on him , without it , that would be a really hard case to make in Court.
IMHO this would have been required whether it was his idea or not

Lol CEO down
