And all those years about people kicking and screaming about these issues was what? White noise?

These are the sort of people who never leave r/worldnews or r/politics, so this is their first exposure to others online actually expressing discontent with societal structure as a whole

Not American, but I feel as if contempt to these kinds of individuals is pretty universal in the American political spectrum. Sure you have the bootlickers. But a lot of people got screwed over denied claims from assholes like this one.

Nobody likes the health insurance companies. Like at best you find a story about how they had outstanding insurance through their job or their spouse or something. Nobody looks at an industry of middle men and thinks it's cool and good that they parasitically latched onto the conduit between the doctor and the patient. It's like asking people to feel good about credit card processing fees.

It probably is eerie if you're looking at it from the wrong side

Are they confused? Is that why there’s that odd choice of word?

Even people that normally defend capitalism because they think it's "going to the store to buy things" or "freedom" or "patriotic" or even "the least bad system there is" look at the wanton rapacious ghouls like they suck.

You know when some dingus who never reads theory says something like "the problem isn't capitalism it's 'cRoNyCaPitALisM'?"

THIS HEALTH INDUSTRY SHIT IS THE EXACT SHIT THEY HAVE IN MIND.

it's like how even the most boot licking cop defenders don't defend the bad apples, they just use them as a foil for their bootlick argument? United Healthcare was a bad fucking apple.

Now what will it take for people to actually read theory

Gotta hit em with the right theory for the moment: short, sweet and clearly relevant. Not a Dinner Party, Two Terrors, and the section of Pitfalls of Liberalism about the violence of the oppressor vs the oppressed are some good ones, I'm sure there are better I'm forgetting

Need to break it down into a children's book. Then animate it. Then condense it into TikToks with loud out of place music.
