Youre just not understanding the costs. There is no view from nowhere, and there are no sweatshops there either, those underwear were made somewhere. Rent/upkeep on facilities probably cost as much as a whole SIX cents per pair, and there was both labor and space on modes of transit used to get the underwear to you. That likely cost as much as $0.5 per pair of underwear. Plus, are they made of sunshine and prayers conjured by humming the Internationale just right? No? Then there is fabric there. That wasnt free, it cost probably as much as $0.05 per pair. That puts the minimum expenses, including the cost of either turnover or feeding the sewing slaves (as much as $0.08 per pair! Highway robbery!) Comes out to $0.69 per pair! And of course the owners need to make a profit!
So maybe think before you speak, commie. Maybe the world is more complicated than your absurd ideology makes it out to be, and things cost a little more to make than just 8 cents per pair, and maybe JUST MAYBE the people running these massive global supply chains know what they're doing, and you shouldn't assume you know better, just because of some quixotic nonsense that feels good to say like "slavery bad"? Grow up.
