Deadpool and Wolverine - Fun movie with absolute no content. I enjoyed myself throughout and sad afterwards thinking about what a nothing burger the movie is. All empty calories.

Yesterday was Twilight, today New Moon. Something tells me I might see Eclipse tomorrow.
Itβs hoa hoa hoa season, baby.
i just watched beautiful girls
i found it a very interesting 'slice of life' pic. nothing is really accomplished/resolved. its more about the personalities in a small town suffering through mid-life malaise and how they handle it.
i really enjoyed it. theres an all-star cast, who performed beautifully. it highlighted different thinking regarding relationships between people. i felt it allowed a viewpoint for how we all have at least some control over our destinies, even with limited options.
Sounds interesting, thank you!
Recently I have watched Drive my car. I really liked it. The almost 3 hour runtime was dragging a bit long but the ending couldn't really work without all the scenes presented. The director's choices to the acting really shine through only after the film. The cinematography and the compositions are really enjoyable.
a trope inside the film
It had literal chekhov's gun
Watched Strange Darling and Alien Romulus in the last week. The former was very good and perfect execution of the non linear story telling, acting was great and it was shot really well, just fantastically done all round. The latter was good, I'm not super into Alien but liked the horror film aspect and had lots of great set pieces, was on the edge of my seat for a couple.
