The PIP is in a strong position to win the governor's seat for the first time ever. I can't conclude whether this is a result of independence sentiment truly taking over or because a. Dalmau is a good candidate who is leaps and bounds better than his opponents who are absolute clowns and b. his opponents are absolute clowns who belong to parties who have an established record of being failures while the PIP really has never even had the chance to show it can govern.
