I still rememeber when I showed my therapist a text convo between me and a friend (well, a fight, lol) when we both use the word communist to describe the other (because we both are!) and she stops and goes "So is this communist thing a joke or?" and I go "oh.. uh... no I'm a communist lol".
i will basically bring up communism a couple sessions in to test therapists. my last one was like "but greed is human nature" so i had to get rid of her. they don't have to be like a commie agitator but I need my therapist to be a materialist otherwise we're basically speaking different languages, they may as well be a Catholic.
people who say "greed is human nature" are just telling on themselves and their own cruel way of treating the world. you were right to get rid of her
totally. i was just like, if we see the world in such fundamentally different ways you obviously can't help me lol
Yeah we sometimes run into roadblocks coming from the fact that she's a liberal but overall its not like, a problem for her that im a communist.
For example where I shared an argument with a friend that I had about Ukraine where I took the ML position I was worried that she'd side with the friend because of the position I was taking but she treated it like any other argument, and if anything said I was too overactive in trying to apologize when I didnt do anything all that wrong lol.

They've happened a few times. There is some disagreement but also some excellent points about how the industry exists to treat symptoms caused by capitalism without ever addressing the cause.

It's okay comrade shark fucker, I'm already on hexbear, I'm glad you found this outlet too. During our next session, let's meditate on the angular nature of our furry friend. 
I told mine on purpose, but she's a closet lefty so we cool.
