The idea of a Bolt with faster DC charging is very appealing. The thought of having to use GM’s shitty infotainment and no CarPlay/Android Auto is not appealing.

Oh shit, I thought the Bolt was discontinued. I love my 2021 Bolt and would love to get another when time comes.
It was discontinued. Then GM realized it was their only EV that was selling. So they are bringing it back with the new battery tech.
It remains to be seen if the new version will be affordable (doubtful), or if it will be the original or EUV size. Considering American car manufacturers addiction to giant cars, it will probably be the larger model.
With the discontinuation of the Malibu, the only remaining gasoline-powered vehicle in Chevrolet’s lineup is the Corvette, following the cessation of Camaro production last year. Earlier this year, GM introduced a hybrid
That's, actually pretty positive news. I'm a little shocked.
That doesn't seem right - there are a bunch of vehicles that are not hybrid. I just looked up the 2025 Tahoe and see no indication that the base 6.2l V8 is a hybrid...
I think the correct answer is "the only remaining gasoline-powered CAR is the Corvette, based on a quick look at their website. I'm guessing this was written by AI from a collection of press releases, but it is possible that it was also written by a human who made a simple mistake in grammer.
They’re only talking about cars.
They mostly sell trucks and crossovers like the rest of American auto makers.
The real positive news to me was:
“To install new tooling, employees will be placed on a temporary layoff until production resumes in mid-2025,” said GM spokesman Kevin Kelly. The affected workers will receive support from the UAW-GM agreement.
So at least the workers aren’t getting screwed.
Is... is a Tahoe not a car??
They really mean sedans while a Tahoe is an suv. I think most people would say sedans and suvs are both cars.
Okay, back to doomer it is...
