Funny, I remember it from the beginning (dQw) so I was confused as to what you were referring to :)

Nice, but someone needs to teach that kid that you only need the watch?v= part. The subsequent &si= and &pp= parts are useless tracking bits.

[–] [email protected] 73 points 3 months ago

But in the other hand, getting someone who doesn't know to type in all those useless tracking bits just to get rickrolled is way funnier

You only really need youtu.be/ and then the video ID

Dear Dad,

On your birthday, I'm never gonna:

  • Give You Up
  • Let You Down
  • Run Around and Desert You
  • Make You Cry
  • Say Goodbye
  • Tell a Lie and Hurt You

If you can't summarize your love for somebody with bullet points, do you really even love them?

If you can't summarily execute people with bullets and pointy things to prove it, do you REALLY even love someone?

(Yes, probably)

My kid's teacher plays the song for the kids all the time. The kids (or at least mine) come home singing it. Rickrolled a classroom worth of parents in one go.

This kid is good.

That song is excellent. I kinda love the 80s vibe and sound tho so maybe I'm biased.
