A few takeaways from this:

  • The fact that they’re spinning him as the most progressive of the shortlist/to the left of Kamala indicates the Dems are seeing shoring up the base/disaffected progressives as a higher priority than chasing “moderate” conservatives.
  • Particularly, him being one of the more vocal critics among electeds against the police after the murder of George Floyd is definitely an attempt to soften the Kopmala image.
  • However, he believes in pay-as-you-go and caved to Uber and Lyft in vetoing a bill that would’ve increased rideshare driver’s wages so no mistaking this guy for even center-left.

And this is still the best they can offer; and I bet I'll still meet a dozen peckerwoods that think they can cudgel a blue vote out of me like-- even if the slavemaster DNC keeps Claudia off the ballots in my state, that probably just means I'm staying home

So, some hick-ass white ex-grunt who earned the nod by tongue-polishing Genocide Joe's low-quarters after his fucking disaster of a debate performance. Yeah, that scans for kopmala and the whole of the DNC.

She has to send a message to the ruling class that nothing will fundamentally change.

From Article:

Mr Walz has been described as having the "most progressive record" of any of Ms Harris's potential running mate picks.

Among his accomplishments are ensuring tuition-free meals at participating state universities, enshrining abortion rights into state law, banning conversion therapy and providing protections for gender-affirming healthcare.

More of an indictment of her and the dems than anything else lmao

“The ability of Jewish people to self-determine themselves is foundational,” he said, according to a recent report in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. “The failure to recognize the state of Israel is taking away that self-determination. So it is antisemitic.”

Welp can't say I'm surprised but he's literally on record saying not supporting Israel is antisemitic, great stuff. More excited than ever to get out and vote jokermala
