Nothing meaningful will be done to stop the slow-walk into fascism that has become seemingly inevitable.

I’m hopeful, but I agree. History, social dynamics, and the lack of an informed populace point to that happening. Maybe a “GreatMan” will rise, and lead us, but benevolent dictators are rare.
