It's like saying to "I'm sure you can find something to be optimistic about" when Hitler seized power in Germany. It's not really the right place or time.

Nah whats happening on lemmy is more like, "we're all fucked and there's nothing we can do about it and fuck you for having any optimism" ad infinitum. I'm advocating for finding someone or something to stand behind and fight.
