either that person is entirely unonline or terminally online. like, i spend 25 hrs a day on the internet but i would also be blank across the board, because neither al jazeera nor hexbear are on the list

not that the trial matters at all but lmao at the idea that they found 24 people with (mostly) some kind of media diet and no pre existing opinions about donald trump. no honey you found 24 liars

I don't know--there are always pretty decent swaths of "swing voters," which implies that there are at least some people with such feebly held beliefs or such a high degree of obliviousness that they may not actually have firm opinions. Never underestimate the media illiteracy of amerikkka

4 and alt2 exclusively get their news from the hexbear mega

Surely feels like a pretty clear cut issue if one juror only gets news from a platform created by and in service of the defendant in a criminal trial.

Like this has to have been an issue in the past when bosses got to own whole towns, how is the system not filtering this juror out by default?

more like hung juror with 4's big dick energy

but in all seriousness, what a clown show, trying to find 12 objective and apolitical people by taking calipers to their news media consumption

    I'm juror 4. Hexbear wasn't an option sans-shrug

Lack of SeventyTwoTrillion hexbear news megathread as an option is proof this whole trial is bogus

idk if most of this means anything, but i do think it's funny that the daily mail, fox news, and msnbc all only have one viewer and it's the same person

Juror 1 just wants to grill.
Juror 2 is gonna say something racist that ends up reuniting all the other jurors.
Juror 3 is a yuppie techbro that looks like Clark Kent.
Juror 4 just wants to get to the baseball game in time.

Gets a lot harder after that since there isn't that much heterogeneity amongst the lib media outlets to make a mapping to 12 Angry Men characters cogent at all.

I first found out about Iran striking Israel because someone posted "bye bye tel aviv" in the StarCraft 2 general chat

Imagining Juror 4 and alt 2 are just Beavis and Butthead.

Beavis: Hehe, heh, hey Butthead, we got selected for jury duty

Butthead: Heheh, heh, what's jury duty?

    Beavis: Heheh, you said doody
