I just started a trial of Capture One editing software... My previous editing was on Google photos and a bit of snapseed on my phone. I am still pretty heavy handed, but I would love some feedback.

Your framing is a bit off, and you're definitely too heavy handed in the edit. I sometimes go way overboard with an edit to make a point, or highlight a feature, but I think you've missed the point in this edit. Can you upload the original unedited version?

Here is one I did a couple years ago where I did apply a couple of touch ups but generally stayed away from pushing it too far.

I prefer to just let the moment come and capture that moment. Any edits should just assist with viewing the original picture in the way you saw it with your own eyes. No camera can capture what a human eye can.
